This collaboration between long term band mates Rusty Sheriff & Filcro (Aeroplane Attack, Friday Night Weird Dreams, Protein Window) is a testament to improvisation and review. Two sessions were recorded at the Fishtank, Portsmouth: One with drums and upright bass, the other electronics and experimental drums. These took place in 2022 (former) and 2023 (the later). The thinking after the first session was nothing special, nothing was planned for the recordings, and we hadn't had ideals to finishing or releasing the outcomes. Session 1 was really born out of a joke, an upright bass rescued from a school bin, microphone attached, and drums played along. The following year an idea was conceived to record another session, completely separate to the initial, and focus on a more abstract combination of experimental style drums and modular synths. Some months later an idea came together to blend the two sessions together, which is what you can hear now.
